President, Healthcare, Security & Technology Finance – Capital One Bank
Keith Reuben is President of the Healthcare, Security & Technology Finance practice within Capital One Bank’s Commercial and Specialty Finance business. Capital One Bank’s Healthcare team partners with clients in the healthcare and long-term care industries by providing real estate loans, enterprise term loans and revolving lines of credit to address their capital needs.
Mr. Reuben is a nationally-recognized healthcare and commercial finance executive who was a member of the senior management team at CapitalSource from 2001 through 2009. He served in a variety of roles, including President of the Commercial Finance business and President of the Healthcare and Specialty Finance business.
From 1999 to 2001, Mr. Reuben was an executive at Heller Healthcare Finance and its predecessor company, Healthcare Financial Partners, where he served as a vice president in the portfolio development/investment group and senior counsel in the legal department.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Reuben practiced corporate and securities law in Washington, D.C. for Hogan & Hartson, L.L.P. He represented a variety of private equity firms and their portfolio companies engaged in leveraged buyouts and other merger and acquisitions activities. Previously, Mr. Reuben practiced corporate and securities law in Atlanta for King & Spalding.
Mr. Reuben holds a B.A. with Distinction in Economics, Magna Cum Laude, from Yale University and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. He lives in Bethesda, Maryland with his wife and two children.
