During the last 5 years overseeing Lamplight Communities operational growth, she has arranged new business opportunities, implemented the transition of acquisitions and executed the turn around strategies at the building level. This mostly involved conversion licensing to provide Assisted Living services, certification for Medicaid Waiver and additions of Memory Care units. In addition, Sevy serves as CEO of Emblem Senior Care, a newly formed seniors housing operations platform in partnership with Summit Care. Emblem enjoys a significant relationship with Comprehensive Care Capital as its capital backer. Prior to founding the family business in 2008, Sevy has more than 8 years of Investment banking experience. She received her BA and MPA from the University of Akron.
