The dental market ranks among the most popular areas for investment in the healthcare M&A space.

In January 2024, there were 50 PMG acquisitions, according to data from the LevinPro HC database. Of those 50, 23 of them were in the dental market. This high deal volume continued from 2023, when 184 (34% of the PMG deals) dental transactions were reported, and 231 (37% of the PMG deals) were reported in 2022. In 2019, there were 42 dental transactions, which just shows how much the industry has grown over the past five years.
